Hi Linda,

It's fine to take three more days. There is no hurry to start the new paradigm. I had asked the group earlier if they wanted to start a new one since there had been no activity in this thread for sometime.  As long as out little group wants to keep working on this paradigm it is of course fine with me. In fact the next we start will be this same paradigm but then analyze it from the 2nd Stage within the 3rd Stage Spiritual so we can understand the natural evolutionary progression with that Stage, using the same paradigm. And, again, it is very useful to read through what others in our group has already posted on this paradigm so as to help you understand it.

The new phase Mars/Pluto correlates to this Soul beginning a brand new development within itself, evolutionarily speaking that is symbolized within the paradigm itself. This would be true in ANY chart that you see such symbolism. And that new cycle starts by understanding the past that has brought it to the present life being lived. And that past is seen not only is Pluto's natal position by House and sign, and the aspects it is making to other planets, i..e Mars, it's opposition to the Pisces planets, but of course by the S.Node in it's own House and Sign and the aspects it is also making to other planets. In this case we also have Pluto and Mars also sextile that S.Node, and trining the N.Node which then means that both Nodes, and the Houses they are in, and their planetary rulers by their own House and Sign, have been acted upon before the current life. The new phase Mars/Pluto, in the current life, then means that all of these prior dynamics are now being evolved in a new way. This can certainly include an inner anger, Mars, and the reasons for that anger, and the manifestation of that anger and why.

Ok Rad...I see you just posted.  Since I already wrote this stuff gonna go ahead and post it anyways.

Quote from: LindaThere are a few themes emerging (I think), and I'm getting a few ideas on how to proceed with the structure.  I am seeing [Edit] two repeating themes only so far:  Neptune balsamic conjunct SN - Venus in Pisces (ruler of NN) - PPP Pisces.  So perhaps this means that where Neptune is completing something from the past (SN), Venus continues with a Neptunian/Piscean theme as it rules the NN - with the PPP in Pisces being the Soul's intention for this life (Pisces 3rd) - and of course all areas continue to evolve.

Yes, great.  And to answer your other question..yes..you do want to start with the bottom line of pluto to understand what the underlying desires and intentions are for the soul, because everything else in the chart is filtered from that bottom line...meaning all other symbols will have no meaning outside of this bottom line. So pluto is the most critical step.  After pluto you'll incorporate the south node..then and its ruler...north node..then north node ruler.

Now to grasp an understanding pf repeating themes, you'll want to understand all the symbols that are within that theme as a living DYNAMIC.  The following steps can naturally promote this kind of understanding.  But before I go into this, I just want to say that if you find this info is having an overwhelming affect on your brain and not an affect where something "˜clicks', then please don't try to take it in just yet.  Jut let me know if it's too much and I can restate things more simply.  Ok, repeating themes:  And again the goal is to understand this as a "˜dynamic', not a group of facts.

First thing you want to do is be clear about the function in consciousness that a symbol is representing: south node symbolizes what?..prior life ego structures that the soul has created to develop/act upon the evolutionary desires of the soul.  And as you pointed out, that south node is in a balsamic conjunction to neptune.  What is the function of neptune?  And what is the significance of that function within a soul who has just evolved into the very beginning of the 3rd stage spiritual?

Once you're clear about the natural function of those symbols, you'll want to factor in what the conjunction means for how those functions operate.  So we have the south node function in a condition of fusion with the neptune function.  The nature of that fusion creates an osmosis between them..meaning that both functions are "˜fused' together so to speak, such that they operate in instinctual unity.  Each symbol is still reflecting its own function, but the other symbol/function is an intrinsic part of it.  Does that make sense?  So the function of the south node is being directly defined by the function of neptune..and the function of neptune is being directly defined by the function of south node...they operate together as one.  Now within this, there's an intention in that fusion..and that intention is to culminate something (balsamic).  Reflect on these things and let the meaning come to you...try and "˜feel' what it means in terms of an inner experience rather than a purely mental idea (and remember to keep the backdrop of 3rd stage spiritual as you're doing this).  The goal here is to arrive at a general grasp within yourself of what these functions are, what they are doing together, and how they are doing it.  Once you've done that, you'll apply it to the context of the 11th house..keep it very simple here..try and intuit how the 11th house might be relevant to these functions.  When you feel a little "˜ding!' in your gut, chances are you have it.  Then you'll take that imagery (or feeling, or whatever)..intact..and try to intuit how it's conditioned by the archetype of scorpio.  You now have made these living symbols, and by simply focusing on "˜tuning in' to these living symbols, they will begin to reveal the depth of their own story/meaning.

Now you'll move to the next symbol in the repeating theme: venus in pisces.  venus in pisces is in what house?..the 4th...the nature of the 4th house reflects the nature of the south node, yes?  so the repeating theme is twofold:  neptune ruling pisces, and 4th house/sn correlating to emotional consciousness/structure of ego.  So once again, start by reflecting on the function venus serves in consciousness.  Think about how and why that function would be coming through the 4th house..how and why it's operating through the archetype of pisces   Then you want to link this to the fact that the neptune/south node are facilitating the development of the venus' function, through the very nature of their own function (neptune ruling venus).  Reflect on how these functions (venus and neptune/south node) are reinforcing each another in the soul's consciousness/life..the types of experiences this might produce..and why.

Then you'll follow the same blueprint by incorporating the north node.  The function of the north node is what?  How would that function operate in the context of the 5th house? ...taurus...and so on.  How is venus in pisces in the 4th, relative to its own development being linked to the vehicle of neptune/sn in the 11th, meant to aid the development of the north node in taurus in the 5th? ......etc.

Anyway, I don't know if that's helpful, but something you can try if it resonates.

QuoteThe other repeating theme is that Pluto's ruler is Mercury - and Mercury is the natural ruler of the 3rd house which contains the PPP.

Do you think I'm on the right track?

Yes!

QuoteI perceive a dichotomy operating in this chart that is puzzling me, namely, Mars in new phase conjunction to Pluto.  Pluto represents the "past" behaviours that the Soul is trying to metamorphose or throw off, yet Mars is initiating something completely new at the same time. Could it mean that the Soul is initiating a course of action to throw off the past conditioning in a "new" and instinctual kind of way? (and perhaps dealing with issues around suppressed anger?

The way to understand the new phase pluto/mars, relative to pluto reflecting past and mars in new phase reflecting something...well..new!, is this:  in arriving at this point of a brand new cycle, the "˜past' that is applying here is the one that recently culminated in the previous cycle.  Your last question/statement depends largely on what you mean by conditioning, so perhaps you can elaborate.
[/quote]

Right On Linda, you're determination is beautiful.

Linda

Thank you Rad and Stacie for your great assistance!

I will take a step by step approach, Stacie, and wait for that 'ding!'  My Mercury is Rx, you see, and Pluto's moving thru my 3rd house.  So there's a burning desire...

Rad, I haven't read the others, because it has been difficult working out "why" they have written what they've written.

Linda

Correction:  I had read Upasika's Practice Chart as soon as he posted it...and thought it was excellent!

He really captured the gentleness of this Soul, and I could "feel" the accuracy of this paradigm flowing so well through his words.

I usually do read others' work, but this time I wanted to attempt it purely from my own self.

Rad

Hi Linda,

Please remember that you have worked on the practice chart before now, and the one's that you have have done so you have done very well with. In those efforts your analysis of the paradigms that we had worked with were well reasoned relative to the 'why' of what your deductions were. And that 'why' of course is directly related to the archetypes themselves: Houses, Signs, and Planets from an evolutionary point of view. When you have not deduced something correctly is of course when I would then post my comments accordingly, and you would then adjust/ learn from there. That's my role as the moderator of this thread. It's the reason I wanted to start it in the first place: to 'practice'. So I can only encourage you to keep going remembering that the VALUE IS ALWAYS IN THE EFFORT.

God Bless, Rad

Pluto/Virgo/9th conjunct Mars (new phase)
Pluto Polarity Point/Pisces/3rd
SN/Scorpio/11th conjunct Neptune (balsamic phase)
SN Ruler Pluto
NN/Taurus/5th
NN Ruler Venus/Pisces/4th
Beginning of 3rd Stage Spiritual

The Mars/Pluto conjunction means a culmination in Pluto's previous cycle, and the beginning of a brand new development symbolized by this chart.   Pluto/Mars sextile SN trine NN means that the Nodes, houses and their rulers have been acted upon before the current life.  With Mars/Pluto opposite Venus/4th the Soul is faced with relationship karma, issues around self-image and sexuality.  Balsamic Neptune/SN indicates ongoing lessons around dreams and illusion.

The past can be understood by Pluto's natal position in the 9th house, where he (the Soul) possesses natural wisdom as a natural teacher.  For many lifetimes he had the evolutionary need for freedom and travel to fulfill a special destiny to uniquely express his teachings and understanding of Natural Law to small groups of people who resonate to his unity with the Source, and in so doing, became fundamentally alienated from his own culture and society.  His intense intuitive faculty and prophetic visions into cosmic forces could confuse others, and so he and his transforming effect was sometimes avoided.

In the past, with Pluto in Virgo, the lesson of service to others - developed through intense self-analysis, guilt and atonement - meant that his personal needs were sacrificed in order to fulfill his teaching purpose.  All traces of self-glorification had been purged, since coming out of the 2nd stage spiritual where he passed through being 'full of himself' as a teacher.  The natural introspection of Virgo allowed (and continues to allow) him to adjust the past stagnant internal patterns that were preventing his ongoing evolutionary intentions.

The SN/Scorpio/11th represents the past egoic structures that were created for acting out his evolutionary desires.  He has a unique and idealistic way of expressing his spiritual teachings to others, but in the process absorbs collective pain or impurities from the group.  It was necessary that he remove the delusive holy mask, by shattering his pristine reality through psychic or spiritual trauma.  These adjustments resulted in a need for total detachment, to become an extreme loner, so that he could purify himself through metamorphosis, healing with light, and deep meditation in unity with the Source.

Since his Soul's consciousness has finally shifted from his subjective ego to his Soul, there is a need to culminate the repetitive past behavioural patterns associated with this chart, and to begin a completely new cycle within it.  He has a need to liberate from and exhaust old patterns associated with dreams and illusions around his relationships and self-image through the process of surrender, detachment, meditation, spiritual methods, and transcendence through sexual energy.  To purify himself, he has the ability to osmose the healing power of god into himself, and to evolve further.  Although he is firmly unified with the Source, he has yet to purify some past egoic structures in terms of this chart.

The nature of the 4th house trine the SN reflects his self-image and emotional consciousness.  With Venus in the 4th house he experiences many different emotional states altering his self-image, which relate to his displaced emotions from childhood or from past lives.  He has a deep silent expectation of getting his emotional needs fulfilled by attachment to friends within his group, since he has spent lifetimes giving of himself to others, but when this love is not reciprocated, leads to extreme emotional experiences, such as displaced anger which is then suppressed (Venus opposite Mars).

Hiding behind a spiritual persona in the past defined his inner self-image which lead to denial and compensation.  The inner standard of judgment became masochistic, and the self-defeating behaviour allowed others to define who he was.  He had to crack through the self-created illusions around his self-image.  Since the SN/Scorpio trines Venus, he is completely aware of the need to purge impurities within himself which created a pattern of guilt - punishment - atonement - suppressed anger - denial - compensation - and disillusionment.  Therefore he needed periods of withdrawal to do inner work so that illusion no longer defined his reality.

The function of Venus is to embrace the value and meaning in his relationships.  Venus is expressed through the 4th house as the ability to relate to others on an equal emotional basis, by tuning in to others' needs for empathy, nurturing, compassion, forgiveness, and love, and being able to receive the same in return.  With Venus opposite Pluto he is now forced to come out of his shell to relate, to cooperate and to share himself with others...and to evolve through the emotional body.  This means involvement with others (either sex) in relationship or friendship to experience really listening, touching, holding, affection, food preparation, nurturing, and sacred sex...and with Venus in Pisces, giving and receiving unconditional love.

Since Mars tightly conjuncts Pluto and opposes Venus, he is learning about sexuality on an 'equal' basis with a partner, which means learning sexual methods and techniques that not only allow an instinctive and spontaneous enjoyment of his own sexuality, but that serve and please the partner's sexual needs as well.  He is able to burn off the raw Mars/Pluto energies by engaging in sacred sex and sharing himself in relationship with others.  He is learning to balance his personal needs with his special destiny in service to others.

Venus in the 4th house is teaching him to become more secure within himself, so that his instinctual survival response is quietened.  Venus trine Neptune reinforce each other through compassion, forgiveness and love, so that he is able to give and receive the love that he needs for his emotional stability.  He learns to become receptive to all his needs (emotional, physical, spiritual) being met in his 'relationship' to the Divine.

All the prior dynamics are being evolved in a new way, and this may include anger since Mars closely conjuncts natal Pluto/Virgo.  Crisis and self-humiliation were created as vehicles to purify the unconscious natural (?) guilt based on past mistakes.  Suppressed anger was the result of self-criticism, unfulfilled sexual needs, and a masochistic archetype in unequal relationships due to giving too much, and 'hiding.'

The function of the NN is the approach taken to develop the PPP/Pisces/3rd.  Through the NN in the 5th house he is able to develop a new creative self-expression and new purpose in this life which will allow a healthy self-respect to develop.  The SN had always allowed him to observe life in a detached way, but never really experience it.  Venus, relative to Neptune/SN, aids the development of the NN/Taurus/5th by finding the "value" and beauty in reality.  It allows him to come out of a dream state, and to feel down-to-earth goodness and warmth, and to develop a powerful commitment to his convictions.

The difficulty in communicating his intuitive understanding is motivating him to learn how to communicate in a logical and succinct way.  Through the PPP, he is able to express a very creative imagination which can be used to teach Natural Law to others via poetry, metaphor or allegory.  Since Pluto's ruler is Mercury, and Mercury naturally rules the 3rd house, the transition to find new ways to communicate his intuitive visions and natural teachings is facilitated by Venus/Pisces/4th by sensitively finding the right words to teach others about Natural Law and the importance of caring for Mother Earth.

*********************************************************************

The conjunction of Neptune and the S.Node in Scorpio in the 11th, which is ruled by the Pluto/Mars new phase conjunction, has much more to do that just dreams and illusions. Read the chapter in Pluto 1 that correlates with Pluto in the 11th House and see what else you can add to this Linda.

***************************************************************************

The past can be understood by Pluto's natal position in the 9th house, where he (the Soul) possesses natural wisdom as a natural teacher.  For many lifetimes he had the evolutionary need for freedom and travel to fulfill a special destiny to uniquely express his teachings and understanding of Natural Law to small groups of people who resonate to his unity with the Source, and in so doing, became fundamentally alienated from his own culture and society.  His intense intuitive faculty and prophetic visions into cosmic forces could confuse others, and so he and his transforming effect was sometimes avoided.

***************************************************************************

The alienation from the Soul's own culture of birth is not indicated in these symbols. It is entirely possible that the Soul has been born into cultures that themselves were living in various ways the very Natural Laws that this Soul has, and does, desire to understand, and share with others. These symbols simply means a Soul who had, and does, desire to understand the TOTALITY of those Natural Laws as they relate to the Nature and Origin of the Cosmos in the first place, and the subsequent desire to share with others that natural knowledge. Thus, the desire to travel in order to experience that totality via the diversity that is offered in a variety of cultures and the different lands that the Soul would travel.

***************************************************************************

In the past, with Pluto in Virgo, the lesson of service to others - developed through intense self-analysis, guilt and atonement - meant that his personal needs were sacrificed in order to fulfill his teaching purpose.  All traces of self-glorification had been purged, since coming out of the 2nd stage spiritual where he passed through being 'full of himself' as a teacher.  The natural introspection of Virgo allowed (and continues to allow) him to adjust the past stagnant internal patterns that were preventing his ongoing evolutionary intentions.

**************************************************************************

The Soul's personal needs also include his desire, need. to share, give, and teach others.

***************************************************************************

The SN/Scorpio/11th represents the past egoic structures that were created for acting out his evolutionary desires.  He has a unique and idealistic way of expressing his spiritual teachings to others, but in the process absorbs collective pain or impurities from the group.  It was necessary that he remove the delusive holy mask, by shattering his pristine reality through psychic or spiritual trauma.  These adjustments resulted in a need for total detachment, to become an extreme loner, so that he could purify himself through metamorphosis, healing with light, and deep meditation in unity with the Source.

**************************************************************************

What types of 'psychic' and spiritual traumas do you think the Soul has created for itself ? And why ? What types of collective impurities and pain has the Soul absorbed, and why ? What does 'purify himself through metamorphosis mean ? healing with light ?

**************************************************************************

**************************************************************************

What old patterns associated with dreams and illusions around his relationships and self image are you referring too ?

***************************************************************************

The nature of the 4th house trine the SN reflects his self-image and emotional consciousness.  With Venus in the 4th house he experiences many different emotional states altering his self-image, which relate to his displaced emotions from childhood or from past lives.  He has a deep silent expectation of getting his emotional needs fulfilled by attachment to friends within his group, since he has spent lifetimes giving of himself to others, but when this love is not reciprocated, leads to extreme emotional experiences, such as displaced anger which is then suppressed (Venus opposite Mars).

****************************************************************************

What displaced emotions would that be ? This Soul does not have attachments to friends within his group at all. Just the opposite: a total detachment. The issue of disillusionment is much more about the Soul's expectations, S.Node in Scorpio, Neptune conjunct, of others capacity to apply the knowledge that the Soul has to teach. The disillusionment has much more to do with the Souls emotional ASSUMPTIONS about others in terms of the Soul's capacity to see any other Souls inherent potentials, of who another Soul actually is, and EXPECTING THEM TO BE THAT. And, when that does not happen, the utter sense of disillusionment that comes out of that. This is then one of the deeper meanings of having his Pluto/Mars in Virgo in the 9th: to accept people as they actually are, and what they are, in reality, capable of doing and not doing: accepting this as the state of affairs here on Earth.

*************************************************************************

******************************************************************************

Denial of what ? And how would the 'compensation' manifest ? This is not a Soul who would allow others to define what it is. It is a Soul that has attracted a diversity of others 'projections', 11th House S.Node with Neptune, as to who they think that the Soul is. It is these ongoing projections that have also served to create a state of disillusionment and bewilderment within the Soul as to 'why' this has occurred, and is continuing to occur. So the real question becomes WHY is this ? What illusions do you think defined his reality ?

***************************************************************************

**************************************************************************

It is not so much as a 'dream' state that the Soul lives within as it is a state of cosmic consciousness, a state of awareness that involves the whole of the Universe as manifesting on this Earth. This real issue with the N.Node ruler in the 4th is relearning how to live on this Earth as most people do which is vastly different that where the Soul itself lives within itself. Thus the evolutionary need to create the Soul's own family, children, etc. And, thus, learning how to relate to others in general from this common place of reality so that they inherent teachings that this Soul is destined to do can be received and applied in a much larger way than in other lifetimes.

*************************************************************************

The difficulty in communicating his intuitive understanding is motivating him to learn how to communicate in a logical and succinct way.  Through the PPP, he is able to express a very creative imagination which can be used to teach Natural Law to others via poetry, metaphor or allegory.  Since Pluto's ruler is Mercury, and Mercury naturally rules the 3rd house, the transition to find new ways to communicate his intuitive visions and natural teachings is facilitated by Venus/Pisces/4th by sensitively finding the right words to teach others about Natural Law and the importance of caring for Mother Earth.

Linda: you have made a very good effort here. Please review the comments made and see then if you can apply them. If so, please resubmit for further review.

Linda

Hi Rad,

Thank you for your review of my Practice Chart above.  I have attempted to answer your questions:

Your quote:  The conjunction of Neptune and the S.Node in Scorpio in the 11th, which is ruled by the Pluto/Mars new phase conjunction, has much more to do that just dreams and illusions. Read the chapter in Pluto 1 that correlates with Pluto in the 11th House and see what else you can add to this Linda.

The Neptune/SN conjunction in Scorpio/11th indicates that through past and continuing humility of service, acceptance of the Divine Will, and identification of unity with the Source, he has been sharing and teaching the totality of natural laws in a "˜spiritual group' of followers or disciples.  It is possible that some past life conditions have not been resolved, but it is more likely that his highly-developed Neptune has been brought forward into the current life.  With Neptune in the 11th house perhaps he had been too trusting or too innocent of the group, when challenges or confrontations occurred, bringing about emotional shocks, and severing of friendships.  Certainly he would have suffered great disillusionment when his expectations of changing the world could not come about, and when his followers could not fulfill the potential he saw in them.

What types of 'psychic' and spiritual traumas do you think the Soul has created for itself? And why?

The types of psychic or spiritual traumas could have been that he became overly attached (Scorpio) or identified with certain visions or knowledge.  He would have had to realize that some visions come true, while other would not.  He could have felt abandoned by god when severely traumatic experiences befell himself or his followers.  His deep compassion and fundamental wisdom attracted others to him, but could also have attracted those who, feeling threatened, persecuted him, and projected false judgments, motives and intentions onto him.  His pure nature could expose the impurities and dishonesty in others.  Putting down invalid forms of spirituality such as religion could have attracted persecution.  Another problem could have been suffering betrayal, disloyalty or deception by his followers.  The lesson was to align his will with a Higher Will, that god determines everything that happens, and to accept the "realities" that take place on earth.

What types of collective impurities and pain has the Soul absorbed, and why?

He would have had such idealistic expectations that injustice, inequality and dishonesty should not exist.  He could have absorbed the collective pain of a sick community.  These traumas could have caused a total detachment from external reality.  He would have intensely desired that his followers remove their egocentric impurities, but suffered intense disillusionment when they could not uphold the potential that he saw in them.  He could have absorbed collective trauma that was shared by his group, such as traumatic historical events, disasters, crimes, holocaust, war, death, etc. resulting in displacement, mourning and grief.  Since he is entering the early stages of 3rd stage Spiritual, he is committed and attuned to working for the Divine in complete devotion and humility.

What does 'purify himself through metamorphosis mean? Healing with light?

He had just come out of the downfall and humiliation of the 2nd stage Spiritual (delusions of grandeur), which necessitated the need for re-purification (Neptune).  Since he had been through almost every kind of life experience imaginable over a multitude of lifetimes he would have experienced many fundamental metamorphoses, giving him the capacity of knowledge of spiritual psychology and spiritual archetypes.  He is unified with the Source, The Light, therefore any remaining egocentric impurities are purged.  His soul is fundamentally pure and filled with the inner Light of the Source.

What old patterns associated with dreams and illusions around his relationships and self image are you referring to?

Neptune's theme (Neptune conj SN) is carried forward to some extent as it is the ruler of Venus/Pisces/4th (which is the ruler of the NN).  He could have been too naively trusting, suffering betrayal, deception or persecution at the hands of others.  His high expectations of his followers would have ended in disillusionment.  I imagine his 'relationships' to friends would have affected his emotional states and his inner sense of self, which would have been very changeable (Pisces) and deeply sensitive.

Linda's quote:  Hiding behind a spiritual persona in the past defined his inner self-image which lead to denial and compensation.

Denial of what? And how would the 'compensation' manifest? This is not a Soul who would allow others to define what it is. It is a Soul that has attracted a diversity of others 'projections', 11th House S.Node with Neptune, as to who they think that the Soul is. It is these ongoing projections that have also served to create a state of disillusionment and bewilderment within the Soul as to 'why' this has occurred, and is continuing to occur. So the real question becomes WHY is this? What illusions do you think defined his reality?

I was referring to the "spiritual persona" in the 2nd stage Spiritual, which could hold remnants of impurities or illusions around his self-image, and denial of who he really was.  I thought the 4th house was highlighted because it relates to the "egocentric past" and the 11th house contains "the record of everything in the unconscious."  I didn't think this Soul was completely god-realized just yet, as there are 7 levels, and perhaps he is just at the 1st level of god-realization.  But you say, the Soul has attracted a diversity of "˜projections' from others.  The reason for these projections is due to the fact that the Soul is fundamentally pure, and naturally exposes the impurities in others.  He is like a living example of purity that exposes to others their falseness and attachment to man-made laws.  The illusions that defined his reality in the past were that he had a vision to change the world, he believed in others, he saw their potential, he saw god in them, but suffered immense disillusionment when they could not live up to his expectations.

Rad

Hi Linda,

Really good Linda. You are demonstrating that, indeed, you are 'getting' how the interactions within the paradigm work. Your follow-up reflects this. Yeah.

God Bless, Rad

Linda

Really great!!  Glad I'm getting there, slowly but surely.  Thanks so much Rad!

Rad

Hi Practice Group,

So let me know if you are all ready to move on ? And, if so, if you still want to work with the last paradigm but shift it to the 2nd Stage Spiritual versus a brand new paradigm to work with ...........

God Bless, Rad

Hi Rad,
I would love that- to continue with this just at second stage spiritual. I feel that would be a great learning experience.

Hi Practice Group,
