It may be well known to most here that 'John of God' had some serious issues. I never followed him or such much but was aware that he was venerated & what I could find here on the boards was general but the idea was he was in the 3rd stage of the Spiritual state.
I cannot understand now how this soul could be - so, I'm wondering if he is 2nd spiritual -?
Also: I understood once in the third spiritual state that a soul would not make a contract with evil?
Do I recall this teaching correctly?
Or is it the 3rd stage OF the spiritual state that there is no possibility of such a contract?
It was just the other day that, via a casually shared anecdote, that I understood the reality of this soul. So, I'm still a bit in shock.
After viewing his chart I have a hard time seeing more than only one way, I can see other realites, but frankly I think this all was the intention from the get-go & it's a new reality for this soul...a reality not aligned with the intentions of God.
Rad, is this soul in the 2nd stage of spiritual - or the third?
Is it possible this soul made a contract with Evil?
I won't go into the chart - but Neptune is in the 6th - feeling 'victimized' by God.....

I don't know that much about him either but from I have learned about him suggests he is in the 2nd stage spiritual. It seems that he fooled many folks for quite some time, and progressively his actual reality became revealed. That's probably why some may have thought, originally, he was in the 3rd stage spiritual: he reported ability to heal.
A Soul that have evolved into the 3rd stage spiritual will not make a contract with evil.

This chart looks like it could be Lucifer's.
This strong spiritual connection, but the feeling of victimization, the many new phases: not least Pluto to Mars within two degress in Leo & the Fifth...
Lots of what I call 'closed circuits'.
I think his spiritual powers (which he conflated GOD with his own soul, & his SN being 12/Pisces) allowed this plan - & this soul planned this.
It seems that his 'powers' were beyond 2nd stage - but that isn't true if there is no contract in 3rd state.
I get the sense this soul got it - in which case: why lose it all?
They must not have 'got it' at all..

I have to apologize that my intention to look further into this chart went awol - the very next day a huge power surge affected my home - I'm still dealing with this...
Then there is the fire - I live in Northern NM - evacutations are happening daily.
There was that eclipse too - right on my nodes & in the 2nd/8th house to boot with squaring planets etc.
Please pray for the wild beings, the wild places who are suffering most from our choices & actions.
I waited to post - kept thinking things be 'okay' to do so & could proceed with intention about John 'of God' - but it may be awhile......

This is a very sad and totally typical example of a 2nd stage spiritual fall from grace.
I had a powerful healing experience with him way back in 2007. Catalyzed one of the most profound periods of awakening in my life one that revealed to me the undeniable presence of God working in my life. He also never took credit - he always pointed to God as the source of all the healings.
And, for God knows how long he had sexually violated countless women and many other horrible things both known and unknown. He apparently denies all of it.
Just read that his own daughter has come forward that he raped her when she was young. I can acknowledge I've tended to be pretty dam naïve.
The fact that people like this are so likable and do in fact seem to have powers and perform miracles (a lot of which I'm realizing now can be a part of the "show". God doesn't need to make a show of anything) is what makes it VERY hard for the masses to actually see them for who they really are. I know of other teachers like this where, even after all their corruption comes out, their followers still deny it.
I think this really points to the immensely delicate nature of this stage of spiritual evolution. My intuition, though I don't know this for certain, is that dark entities began progressively working through him which he attracted through his deeply unresolved sexual/self-importance issues. The Mars Pluto Chiron squaring the Scorpio Moon speaks so clearly to this. Such a strong attraction to power here and the self-entitlement to do whatever one will's to do.
I can see the deceit/trickery with the Uranus Saturn squaring the Virgo Pisces nodes in the context of being a spiritual healer (Neptune in Virgo ruling Pisces sn, Neptune squaring Mercury stationing in Gemini). And also "truth" and "illusion" mixed in together making it hard to know what is of God and what is not. Venus in Taurus in a square to the nodes as well further points to the issue of self-interest.
What I see so often is that souls at this stage of evolution are often unwilling to acknowledge their wrongdoing.

First, this has to be brief, if you will, off the cuff - things ongoing - but I want to thank all for well-wishes & blessings - I know it has an affect/effect. We've had snow, rainbows, thunder & butterflies resurrected!
Rad - thanks for sharing that JWG spent some time in Northern NM - I first came here just out of teens to the middle of nowhere, very dilberately to a place called Quemado, but then Northern NM is where I've been mostly for over 20 years - very special place, I'm essentially in the greater Taos area.
Funny thing is I conflated NM with South Dakota - well, I was a teen & had no idea: I get it better now.

One thing I was thinking after I posted how these souls are so close - why throw it away?
But, I think that's precisely why - they are so close.....they don't like that purifying fire of God.
They also do understand, as Yogananda says, this is a 'cosmic play/drama', so these souls decide that they are SO important they will go against god, & realms like Earth will be their playground, so for eternity they 'make the rules' or so they think, they do what THEY want, not God & they don't care that they don't 'evolve' - they aren't going to be the ones to suffer, or hurt etc - & they think they can go against God - it's incredible the hubris......they were very close: but not that close.
That's why there's these 'closed circuits' - the endgame of those rulerships etc.
Now, it's possible John's soul has had this life as a literal 'come to Jesus' moment - I think it's passed, but time isn't what we think....maybe he's still a chance to cop to his actions & move into humility & reparation.

Perhaps I will PM you, but there is really one main question I have - & frankly I think all things would be EA related: if our chart reflects our soul's evolution: how can it not?
But, things certainly can be reflected that you may wish to keep private.
When I whittled my questions down - I came to one: do you think your projection onto John allowed your catalyst - ?
He may have some inner realization, but he's a human just like you & you have a connection with God & all that is just as everything in creation we know of & what we don't & what we cannot imagine.
So - do you think it was a 'placebo' if you will - & has utterly nothing to do with him at all.....
OR
Do you think you have a soul connection, prior lives, or perhaps other 'soul family' connections that allowed a certain flow of energy that another soul might not have experienced?
I think either 'option' if you will must be shown in your chart & the latter most certainly, & in synastry with yours - plus the chart of when this occurred.

The fire - terrible - & I learned that Hermit's Peak was so named because back in the 1600's a hermit lived up there, incredibly beautiful - he would light a fire or some such so folks know he was okay - one day, there was no light, someone murdered him.
& that beautiful place - is now gone.
To get back to John's chart - the 'loops' -
Pluto conjunct Mars - new phase in Leo -
Sun in Cancer conjunct Jupiter -
Moon - Scorpio - right back to Pluto
That's one 'loop' - that new phase of intention that, considering the reality, is the dark side of Leo & & the sun with Jupiter - compensation/expansion &the dark side of Scorpio
North Node - Virgo - sado-masochistic stuff...Mercury - that's right: in Gemini: another 'loop'' goes right back - no out.
Ruler of SN - Neptune - yep, right there in Virgo - a 'loop'
Mecury rules a Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Gemini - new phase
There is Venus in Taurus, ruling herself - another dead end.
But I find this Pleidian thing interesting......

a recockning - that he will be confronted & have a choice & those new phases present the new phase of humility.
I don't think the latter is true.
This soul feels so deeply victimized by God that it will do whatever it can to 'make it even' - to get revenge

Yes, and that is because of the nature of his 'beliefs' about what God was/ is wherein the very nature of those beliefs, starting with the belief that God is perfect, that created the core disillusionment about God, and anger that then manifested from that. In turn, he attracted Souls who 'believed' that God was working within him only to be disillusioned' about him, and thus God itself for many.
I agree with all that you said and would include the fact that his Lucifer is conjunct his N.Node in Virgo and square the Saturn, Uranus, Venus conjunction which is squaring his Nodal axis: the EVIL that is hiding behind 'God'. Amazing how graphic the symbolism of Venus can be when we remember he would literally ram some device into the nose (Venus correlates to the nose) of those that he was 'healing' thus inflicting pain and suffering in the context of that 'healing from John of God'.
Thus, his real name should be John of Lucifer.

I'm just astonished that his lucifer is conjunct that NN in Virgo - just wow, really, & I didn't even think to look at it, which is silly. I didn't even look!
These 'beliefs' - beliefs are the scourge - & I have to admit I always tussling with God about Evil, always - & I get very angry.
What's funny is whenever I'm in nature, not the human, much less 'people world', it all just is nothing....
& awhile back I was in the river & the moon was there over the canyon - & I thought, it's not God's intention for evil - it's that God loves it's creation so much to give it free will.....& there's a lot in God, & there are some souls that want to do what it wants to do with God
There's an idea of having compassion for God......there's a real thing of fighting for that original intention.....

& you know, John of Lucifer can have 'fun' with that - there's more of us than him.
