"I have a question about return charts - what to calculate and how to use them. Take for example a Saturn return. I could create a seperate event chart for the exact time of the return and look at that chart as a stand alone chart as informing the enegies of the new Saturn cycle. Alternatively, I could create a bi-wheel for the date/time/place of the return placing the transiting planets on the outer ring and then read it like a transit chart to learn about the energies (sign house, rulership and aspects of the return planet, as well as the aspects other transiting planets make to the natal for the period of the transit (one site I saw gave consideration to the entire period that the transiting planet passed through it's entire natal sign). Which method is the most useful? Thanks for any help!"
Hi,
Any return chart including Saturn is calculated as a stand alone chart for the period of the return yet must be understood in the context of that natal planet within the whole of the birth chart.

Thank you Rad.
