Pluto in Virgo opposite Mars in Pisces carries the victim/masochist archetype, would you see this equally if Mars is in Aries in the 12th house opposite Pluto in Libra in the 6th house. I'm making the assumption that the archetypes are the same whether in Virgo/Pisces or 6th house/12th house. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you so much.

Yes, the same archetypes run through the signs, houses and planets in equal measure. However signs, houses and planets all represent a different astrological component, and as such all manifest in a different way.
So while masochism is possible via anything connected to Pisces, the 12th house or Neptune ... (to extremely simplify the picture) it will manifest as Pisces as an innate tendency to often have a feeling of being a bad person, and a feeling of obligation to other people regardless of who they are; as Neptune as a powerful semi-conscious urge to submit to situations and others, as energy for creating situations where one is dominated and abused; and as the 12th house as a latent desire for the experience of persecution and/or atonement, and on an ongoing basis the actual experiencing of specific persecution and/or atonement.
