What I've found through searching the message boards is that the polarity point for Pluto conjunct North Node applies if the conjunction is greater than 5 degrees. Just wondering why that would be? I'm looking at a chart that has Pluto 25 degrees and North Node 18 degrees Scorpio in the second house. It is a friend's son who spends a large amount of time alone in front of the computer. I was initially reading it as though there was no polarity point and that this isolating was something he was naturally drawn to and necessary. After discovering the post about a polarity point existing in wide conjunctions I'm doubting myself. Could anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank you!
Hi Kerri,
There is no polarity point for Pluto when it is conjunct the N.Node using a 10 degree orb.

Thank you! :)
I have encountered a chart in which Pluto is at 28 degrees Scorpio and the North node is at 14 degrees Scorpio in the 8th house along with Jupiter(28), Moon(23) and Venus(03) all in Scorpio. The nodes are stationary. My intuitive reaction is to treat Pluto as though it is conjunct the north node because of the stellium, so no polarity point. Am I correct in thinking that this would be an exception to the 10 degree rule? Or should I still be looking at a polarity point?
Hi Kerri,
There still is a polarity point involved here. The signature that you have stated correlates to a Soul who, previous to this life, has desired to inwardly/ outwardly confront dynamics that have been impeding it's desire for intensified evolution of itself: to kick aside any perceived blocks. That is still underway yet the polarity point of Pluto relative the the S.Node in Taurus correlate with residual and remaining inner dynamics that are still serving the inhibit the intense evolution this Soul desires. It is those remaining and existing dynamics that the Soul is intending to confront, and eliminate, in this life so that the desire for an intense and accelerated evolution of the Soul can occur. Examine closely all the aspects to the Venus, and the house of the S.Node in Taurus, to understand what those remaining dynamics are, and WHY they have remained in the Soul coming into this life.

Thank you Rad! That was very helpful, I get it now :)
