New here. I won't post my whole story since people think I'm seeking out a chart reading. I'm an astrology student and I'm not looking for a chart reading. Has anyone had direct past life memories or experiences related to nodal returns, eclipses, and or vertex activations? And have you been able to verify it by looking at the charts of the people involved?

Past life memories correlate with Uranus as it correlates with long term memory, the higher mind and the individuated unconscious. In EA the Vertex is not used.
In relation to your question about confirming past lives, the chart can´t verify the fact. Only direct observation from someone that has the ability to see past lives or from within your own self can such things be verified and confirmed.

Hi Skywalker thanks for the reply. what if a transiting Uranus is conjunct a persons south node around the time of an eclipse? Do you suppose Uranus could be having an effect at that time if there is a past life recall?

Yes, transiting Uranus or transits to natal Uranus can correlate with accessing past life memories. Also remember that the South Node of the Moon is the symbol for the past life egocentric structures we create.

I've had past life memories slip into consciousness many times in the form of dreams or momentary flashes. The thing is, although I think they are past life memories, I can't be one hindred percent sure. On top of that, although I usually make note of them in a notebook, I never record the date or look at my chart at the time they come through.
These glimpses of the past started coming into my conscious awareness after I had a past life regression which seemed have unclogged the pipes so to speak. I do have a chart for the time of that session and just looked at it after reading this thread. I find its kind of interesting in relation to what Skywalker points out about Uranus and the South Node.
At the time of my regression transiting Uranus was conjunct the transiting South Node, both in Aries, in the 6th house semi-square natal South Node. I don't want to get too deep into it but I did pick up Pluto Vol II and look up 45 degrees/semi-square. I'm not one hundred percent sure again as with the nodes I may not be looking at this right, but I think this is a Last Quarter Phase Semi-sextile.
JWG writes that this correlates to the evolutionary preparation for the Balsamic Phase and goes on to explain that there is a high degree of internalized stress that revolves around the need to withdraw from all social interaction in order for the new seeds in awareness to occur that reflect an understanding of the universal and the timeless.
This is the first time I have looked at it from this perspective but I can say, that is exactly what has happened. I did withdraw from most (not all) social interaction and the universe set me up making it possible for me to do so it seems. I did quit my job, which forced me to live a very extroverted life, while Uranus was in the Aries in the 6th house, and later found one that allows me to work from home without the normal social interaction that jobs usually provide.
Going back to the past lives, they seem to be a part of all this as I often wake up with images and/or dates in my head or I experiences flashes of what appear to be memories of distant times while I am sitting here working. This is all starting to subside now and not occurring so much but it was happening alot for awhile.
So, when you look at your transits do you see a correlation as well? If so, have you looked at the phasal relationship between the transiting planets/nodes and the natal? This seems to add some very significant information to it.
