Basic Astrology question

Hi all

I have a basic astrology question in regards to what symbol we look for in a natal chart to represent the father. I read that Saturn relates to the archetype for the father as it's the natural ruler of the 10th house but I also read that the Sun can also represent the father.

Would someone be able to provide some clarity on this for me.

EA, as well as the vast majority of traditional astrology, correlates the father with Saturn, Capricorn, and the 10th House. Remember astrology is a natural science which simply means a science born of correlation and observation: not theories or hypothesis. Because of this humans have been observing and correlating within the realm of astrology for thousands of years. As a result of this archetype of the father correlates to Saturn, Capricorn, and the 10th House.
