Hi Rad,

It is interesting to note, that Mars is currently 5 Virgo--conjunct Joan of Arc's SN and natal Mars and the transiting nodes are 5 Gem/Sag, square her natal nodes.  I don't have time now to read thorough the thread, but I hope too.  

I do wonder what the other planet/asteroid is that is conjunct her SN in Virgo?

It can't of course. I just realized, because of your question, that what was being celebrated in France was the date that she entered Orleans with her army. I am sorry for my error but, gosh, her story is so incredible I am sort of glad I messed up cause it has given the opportunity for us to reread her story from an EA point of view.
