Hi Rad and All,

I think it's worth sharing and notice that today Lilith is making a conjunction to the north node at 23 Taurus which is then trine Pluto at 28 Cap, sextile Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces and square its ruler venus at 22 Aquarius, together with Juno, Saturn and mars close by... No wonder things feel weird for most people!
The conjunction is also very close to Sedna at 28 taurus. I would say we are challenged to recover a dormant life force that cannot forever sleep or lay at the bottom of the ocean, and certainly rebel for freedom, that's for sure.
I wonder if anyone wants to share any thoughts on this, but anyways wish all a great journey 'back-forward' to the root...

Blessings to All,
Helena

Hi Helena,

My feeling about this correlates with survival for the human species itself, and survival for the totality of nature in all of it's manifestations. Survival relative to this correlates with the need to return to a state of Natural Laws, the Natural Laws that regulate survival life itself in all of it's manifestations. Returning to these Natural Laws recreates a state of natural balance within the incredible diversity of the manifest Creation as applied to the planet that we all live on.

God Bless, Rad

Helena

Hi Rad,

This so true, I was connecting what you mention to something I read a couple of days ago and why this helps and applies so well to the understanding of the asteroid Lilith in the chart.
I came across a therapy in psychology that is not new and is well known called IFS where from what I understood trauma is worked by acknowledging that the psyche always creates a system to survive and protect itself, and even though this can create the dissociated parts that hide and suppress the natural instinctive self, this kind of therapy suggests that by welcoming and integrating this parts as 'part' of also a natural survival system and with practices like meditation, that the real natural self can emerge and take charge in a positive sense of self-leadership, and is a self that does not need to be cultivated or developed because it is in itself an essence that is not damaged, and it is in fact a confidant, curious and calm self, preserved by any destruction that the survival system created.
I thought to myself that this is amazing because this is in my view what in astrology we call Lilith within the Soul, and also closes a circle in the tendency to why we have created dissociating parts in this understanding of Lilith, the three liliths, that in my view, need the natural undamaged self to arise in order to  integrate the understanding of Lilith, the one single force, root self, has it it is given and created by the Mother. Which I think it goes hand in hand in what you mention about survival as returns to natural laws because Lilith itself is undissociated of the ability to survive in that natural state. Also something any soul can experience by itself as true, and now we seem to have been blessed to take the opportunity to really integrate it with the Lilith NN conjunction if only we can let this essential part take charge in the midst of much trauma we can certainly see collectively in the world if not in our personal lives (the temporary skipped steps of mars, venus, Juno and Saturn) would you agree?
I don't now what you think Rad, but ever since I started to better understand Lilith here at the MB, the Lilith book and Kirstin teachings, I have been growing the notion that the asteroid Lilith in the natal chart, and this essential, creative life force, is not only in the chart of women, is not gender based and more present or absent the more the soul relates to feminine energy (of course with the patriarcal distortions most men tend to project it outside of themselves and many women tend to adopt a dissociated side of Lilith). But to give a current example we have all been contemplating, In Zelensky's chart, the president of Ukraine, a nation who has been teaching the world the value of bravery and fighting for what is true if that's what it takes, we see Lilith in Pisces ruled by Neptune in Sag., and what better example could it be of a life force that unites all democratic nations in turn of universal ideals of humanity fairness and justice? It's hard not to see the will of God/dess and Lilith's fierceness in this soul at this point in time.

Thank you again Rad,
Helena

Rad

Hi Helena,

Yes, I would agree. And we all need to remember that the essence of Natural Laws manifesting in the human being is the Natural Law of giving, sharing and inclusion wherein the survival of any group is rooted in what the group needs in order to survive. This focus upon the group vs the individual thus allows for all the individuals within a group to survive.

This Natural Law is observable and knowable in so many ways but for most it is understood in moment of great crisis, like in Ukraine now, wherein the INSTINCT in almost all humans triggers this Natural Law. Thus, almost all do what is needed on behalf of the group in order to survive. We see and know this for example when a fire sweeps through a community, and earthquake strikes somewhere, and so on.

God Bless, Rad

Hello Helena & Rad,

The most vivid example relative to Lilith was an image I saw on the very first day that Russia declared war on Ukraine.

Rad posted a story about a female parliament member in Ukraine named Kira Radik who thought she was going to be planting daffodils and tulips that weekend in her backyard but instead she was learning to use a firearm to protect her country. She was all over the news here.

This is a true expression of Lilith as Kira joined civilians to protect her city, her people, her land  and her soil. This was very simple she said. It was not even a question.

Of course war of this kind is rooted in patriarchal distortions and self-interest, the furthest thing from sharing, giving and inclusion, the natural laws that Rad speaks of above.

Unfortunately, violence of any kind can also trigger the distorted Lilith where revenge feels justified. When all is said and done, nobody feels good about what happened. A natural Capricorn guilt can follow.

But the worse of humanity can also bring out the very best in humanity.

What about the woman in Poland who is showing up in the middle of the night to pick up women and children from the train station and driving them to shelters and putting stuffies in the read dashboard for the young ones to play with. She makes a bout 20 trips per night doing what she can with what she has, all while she herself is battling cancer.

Another example of a natural Lilith response.

These currents transits with Lilith in Taurus squaring Venus but also trining Pluto in Capricorn, will continue to spur on that survival strength that is so necessary in times like this.

Goddess Bless,
Kristin

Hello to all,
Thanks Helena for bringing up this important transit of Lilith's, whose power, beauty and wisdom never cease to amaze.

Lilith would seem to be pointing the way to our future, one that is survivable and sustainable and which can extricate us from the global cataclysm that we have created.  She is showing us that the tools and know-how to resolve it lie within our grasp through re-alignment and attunement to the self-regulating and self-regenerative powers of Mother Earth (Lilith conjunct Taurus lunar North Node). For instance, it is possible to mitigate global warming through natural techniques that simply and inexpensively capture and sequester carbon in soil. Every family yard and farm, community owned lands and forests can be adapted to do so and reverse its destructive effects in our lifetimes. (ref: video documentary "Kiss the Ground" hosted by Woody Harrelson; "The soil will save us", Kristin Ohlson; "Ceres", Appendix B, Soil and the Goddess' Mystical Regenerative Powers).

Those same powers belonging to Mother Earth that transform worlds bless each individual Soul (via Scorpio powers of regeneration) and become owned to contribute to global welfare through the actualization of each Soul's unique divine seed nature (Aquarius). Those powers that bless each Soul give form and vision to humanity's sacred role as guardians and caretakers of Mother Earth. Collectively, we are challenged to unify and transform the values of the world (Uranus in Taurus ruling the Aquarius stellium) from dead-end patriarchal ones to life-giving Soul-centered ones through this faculty.

Lilith symbolizes our primal shamanic consciousness - one wholly united to a conscious Creation. The ability to perceive reality like Lilith is rooted in the human heart. When one is aligned and centered in the Soul, she become one with us as a vibrant intelligence that guides the purest instincts within our hearts. Those instincts are represented by the Neptune in Pisces transiting with Jupiter forming a sextile to her. She is showing us that the principles inherent to the sacred feminine through the Pisces archetype become the tools that expand (Jupiter) our consciousness to faithfully guide our way through this critical juncture. They are purity, dreams, imagination, the spiritual impulse, universal unity or oneness, healing, faith and hope, devotion, sensitivity and empathy, psychic awareness, simplicity, ultimate meaning, unconditional love and giving, transcendence of things that keep one bound to the material world, sensitivity/connection to the collective consciousness and the collective unconsciousness (whichever human and/or planetary group, like plants, animals, nature in general, that one associates with that render meaning/value to the life journey.)

If instead, out of a sense of futility (Saturn in Aquarius squaring nodes), we align to its negative side, we become sadly disempowered as victims of escapism, fantasy, addiction, delusion, confusion and disillusionment. We also allow the patriarchal's psychopathic tendencies that have distorted and traumatized humankind's consciousness to win.

Our function as guardians and caretakers of Mother Earth represented by Saturn in Aquarius rules the Pluto in Capricorn. Its trine to the Moon's North Node in Taurus signifies our Soul's collective sense of responsibility and capacity to own this sacred mantle as a quintessential function of survival and need (Moon's North Node ruler Venus in Aquarius) on both the inner and outer planes. It is time (Saturn) for humankind to step up and demonstrate with the uncompromising self-determination of its Soul (Pluto in Capricorn) its maturation in this regards. It is also time (Saturn) for its vision to be actualized (South Node of Neptune in Aquarius/North Node in Leo squared by Uranus in Taurus), for although while being vital to its survival right now, exists as the singular, most potent resource (Taurus) and faculty it possesses facilitating its unification and attunement to Nature (sextile to Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces) to secure its future. Its degeneracy and stagnation over the past five thousand years speaks for itself.

Lilith is imploring us to confront and fight for what is rightfully ours against those holding the reigns of power (Moon's South Node in Scorpio ruled by Pluto in Capricorn squared by its ruler Saturn in Aquarius) that stand in our way in our sacred role as the guardians and stewards of our beloved Mother Earth (Lilith square Aquarius planetary stellium). She is asking us to dive deep into our Soul and awaken the resources inherent to our shamanic consciousness (Lilith in Taurus on Moon's North Node) that attune us to the Great Mother's regenerative powers and abundance, all the while remaining sensitive to intuitive perceptions that stir the Mother's love in our hearts to guide our way in harmony with Natural Laws (sextile to Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces).

Each individual has the archetype of Lilith within them, which is expressed uniquely according to one's particular nature. Lilith is calling upon each to discover what that is and to actualize her potential and wisdom nature for the sake of humanity's survival, as well as the protection and survival of all kindred beings within the sacred web of life that are so dearly cherished and loved by us.

Blessings, Mary Blue

Hi Rad, Kristin and Mary Blue,

Thank you so much for your light on this. I totally agree that Lilith is pointing to how we can survive and move to the future, wonderful gift to have this open door to Her.
One thing, with Lilith's south nodes only on three signs - taurus, gemini and cancer, is that many many many people will also feel the transit of lilith on its own south node now as it conjuncts the north node of the moon and everybody in the next months will have felt this return also in gemini and cancer. It's  wonderful opportunity to recover, as you all mention, and touch on our unique capacities to, together, give our best parts to the collective within the whole of our needs.

Ceres is also so strong in this times, the symbology is simple incredible, because Ceres just finished the total of three conjunctions with moon's north node (2021 in gemini two times, 2022 in taurus) and just right after it, the world has entered again in a war resembling the horrors of the past, in a country, Ukraine, and this incredible symbology here, that is the supplier of grains for much of Europe and many countries in the world, now threatening global hunger crisis... I truly hope spring allow us to recover our ability to regenerate and we embody the best of Ceres teachings.

I would like to leave a quote that I like very much from an oracle dedicated to the Divine Feminine, portraying Lilith:

"I am the voice of my Body and Soul
I choose the Life that I desire to live"

May the God/dess bless us all,
Helena

Greetings all,
Helena: The conjunction is also very close to Sedna at 28 taurus. I would say we are challenged to recover a dormant life force that cannot forever sleep or lay at the bottom of the ocean, and certainly rebel for freedom, that's for sure.

Your words provide such a succinct description for Sedna! Sedna serves to unlock or un-thaw that has been held in a frozen state for far too long. Her prominence now suggests it is time for us to resurface with an absolute, unwavering commitment to fight for what is most authentic and intrinsic to life – the right to exist and to thrive according to one's true nature, as a species, as a consciousness, as a soul, as a part of the whole. It is interesting to note that Sedna will continue to stay in trine aspect to Pluto for most of this decade, advancing from Taurus to Gemini (April 2024) as Pluto ends Capricorn and begins its 20-year tour of Aquarius. Moving from Taurus to Gemini, Uranus continues in balsamic relationship to Sedna until late May of 2026, then moves to a new phase relationship for several more years. I hold hope that lengthy alignment of Sedna in Gemini, in trine to Pluto in Aquarius, and conjunct Uranus in Gemini, is a signature for a positive shift regarding our collective learning curve and the way we perceive, create, relate, and connect. Blessings to all, Rose

Hi Rose,
That is a very promising transit indeed. Thank you for bringing it up and for your teachings on Sedna at your monthly podcast for transits with Kristin, I always listen to the wonderful insights you both share :-)

Thank you again,

Hi All,

Here is the chart for MacKenzie Scott (née Tuttle, formerly Bezos; April 7, 1970, 6:20 am) is an American novelist and philanthropist. She is known for her involvement in Amazon, her philanthropic efforts, as well as her now dissolved marriage to Jeff Bezos. As of November 2021, she has a net worth of US$62.2 billion, owing to a 4% stake in Amazon, the company Bezos founded. As such, Scott is the third-wealthiest woman in the United States, and the 21st-wealthiest individual in the world. Scott was named one of the world's most powerful women by Forbes in 2021, and one of Time's 100 Most Influential People of 2020.

In 2006, Scott won an American Book Award for her 2005 debut novel, The Testing of Luther Albright. Her second novel, Traps, was published in 2013. She has been executive director of Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying organization, since she founded it in 2014. Committed to give at least half of her wealth to charity, as a signatory to the Giving Pledge, Scott made US$5.8 billion in charitable gifts in 2020, one of the largest annual distributions by a private individual to working charities. She donated a further $2.7 billion in 2021.

Early life and education

MacKenzie Scott Tuttle was born on April 7, 1970, 6:20 am in San Francisco, California, to a financial planner father and homemaker mother. She claims to have begun seriously writing at the age of 6, when she wrote The Book Worm, a 142-page book, which was destroyed in a flood.

In 1988, she graduated from Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut.

In 1992, Tuttle earned her bachelor's degree in English at Princeton University, where she studied under the Nobel Laureate in Literature Toni Morrison, who described Tuttle as "one of the best students I've ever had in my creative writing classes". She also worked as a research assistant to Morrison for the 1992 novel Jazz.

Career

Literary career

In 2005, Scott wrote her debut novel, The Testing of Luther Albright, for which she won an American Book Award in 2006. She said that it took her 10 years to write, as she was helping Bezos build Amazon, giving birth to three children, and raising them. Toni Morrison, her former teacher, reviewed the book as "a rarity: a sophisticated novel that breaks and swells the heart". Her second novel, Traps, was published in 2013.

Amazon

In 1993, Scott and Bezos were married, and in 1994, they both left D. E. Shaw, moved to Seattle, and started Amazon. Scott was one of Amazon's first employees, and was heavily involved in Amazon's early days, working on the company's name, business plan, accounts and shipping early orders. She also negotiated the company's first freight contract. When Amazon began to succeed,[when?] Scott took a less involved role in the business, preferring to focus on her family and literary career.

Personal life

Scott was married to Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, from 1993 to 2019. She met him while working as his assistant at D. E. Shaw in 1992; after three months of dating in New York they married and moved to Seattle, Washington, in 1994. They have four children: three sons and one daughter. Their daughter is adopted from China.

Their community property divorce in 2019 left Scott with US$35.6 billion in Amazon stock while her former husband retained 75% of the couple's Amazon stock. She became the third-wealthiest woman in the world and one of the wealthiest people overall in April 2019. In July 2020, Scott was ranked the 22nd-richest person in the world by Forbes with a net worth estimated at $36 billion. By September 2020, Scott was named the world's richest woman, and by December 2020, her net worth was estimated at $62 billion.

After her divorce from Jeff Bezos, Mackenzie Bezos changed her name to Mackenzie Scott, with the surname derived from her middle name.

She is now married to high school chemistry teacher Dan Jewett. The marriage was revealed in Jewett's Giving Pledge letter posted on March 6, 2021.

Philanthropy

In May 2019, Scott signed the Giving Pledge, a charitable-giving campaign in which she undertook to give away most of her wealth to charity over her lifetime or in her will; despite its name, the pledge is not legally binding.

In a July 2020 Medium post, Scott announced that she had donated $1.7 billion to 116 non-profit organizations, with a focus on racial equality, LGBTQ+ equality, democracy, and climate change. Her gifts to HBCUs, Hispanic-serving institutions, tribal colleges and universities, and other colleges surpass $800 million.] In December 2020, less than six months later, Scott stated that she had donated a further $4.15 billion in the previous four months to 384 organizations, with a focus on providing support to people affected by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and addressing long-term systemic inequities. She said that after July, she wanted her advisory team to give her wealth away faster as the United States struggled with the unprecedented impact of COVID-19 while billionaires' wealth continued to climb. Her team's focus was on "identifying organizations with strong leadership teams and results, with special attention to those operating in communities facing high projected food insecurity, high measures of racial inequity, high local poverty rates, and low access to philanthropic capital". Scott's 2020 charitable giving totalled $5.8 billion, one of the biggest annual distributions by a private individual to working charities.

On June 15, 2021, Scott announced another $2.7 billion in giving to 286 organizations. Forbes reported that Scott donated $8.5 billion across 780 organizations in one year (July 2020 to July 2021). In June 2021, Scott and Melinda French Gates launched the Equality Can't Wait Challenge, a contest to promote gender equality and expanding women's power and influence in the United States by 2030. The four winners received $10 million each and additional $8 million was split between two finalists. In February 2022, nine organizations announced gifts from Scott totaling $264.5 million. On March 23, 2022 more gifts were announced including $436 million to Habitat for Humanity[38] and $275 million to Planned Parenthood.

Forbes reported, "the unrestricted and ultimately more trusting nature of Scott's philanthropy is the exception, not the norm in their world." The New York Times noted that "Ms. Scott has turned traditional philanthropy on its head... by disbursing her money quickly and without much hoopla, Ms. Scott has pushed the focus away from the giver and onto the nonprofits she is trying to help." Scott has said she believes "teams with experience on the front lines of challenges will know best how to put the money to good use."

Her natal Lilith is 15 Gemini, N.Node 9 Capricorn, S.Node 1 Gemini. Her natal Amazon is 15 Leo, N.Node 13 Taurus, and the S.Node is 5 Sagittarius.

Dear Rad
Thanks for sharing this chart. Looking at her Moon at 23 Pisces, wondering if the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction at 23 Pisces on 12 April correlates to her death. Of course I see the Aquarius stellium opposite her 8h Mars as well. The last time Jupiter/Neptune were conjunct in Pisces was the second part of the Industrial Revolution. This revolution will certainly have something to do with information as the world bears witness to the madness of King Putin. I remember JWG teaching us about the end of the Pluto Capricorn days, toppling of patriarchal hierarchies... and the difficulties of this period. I am not sure if it wishful thinking or he talked about Pluto's entrance into Aquarius as a more world collaborative leadership time?

I know many elements are at play but it is very interesting to be able to study this chart. Transiting Uranus on her Vesta Chiron, the Lunar nodes transiting her natal Uranus Venus, and the wide berth of Pluto in Cap on her Mars in Cancer... So much to admire in this short life.

Bless sharing and caring...

Hi Tashi,

The Saturn transit opposed her Mars, square Uranus,Venus, the transiting Lunar Nodes which also square her Mars, Uranus (exact) and Venus, all correlate to her death. It is not uncommon for a Soul who has Mars in stressful aspect to Uranus to have had, or will have, and early life ending through some kind of trauma: Uranus.

JWG never taught that the Pluto transit in Capricorn would correlate to the 'toppling of the patriarchies'.

Hi Helena,
In your previous post about Lilith, each of the aspects identified in the IFS therapy you describe can be seen to correlate to various psychological states manifesting during the journey of the Soul. The words "natural instinctive self "reflect the primal state every Soul originates from when it individuates.Since Lilith corresponds to the original woman, just as you recognized, she is just that.

The Soul's primal state is described by Buddhists as "pure and awakened from the beginning."As described in both Lilith and Ceres books, all begins from this state. Then involutionary forces induce separation in order for that which is unconscious, the primal state, to become realized consciously and through empirical experience, capacities manifest teaching the individual how to harness the powers of the Soul to actualize this state according to its particular nature. Then that which is pure and awakened from the beginning becomes Self-realized, completing its cyclical turn, where the endpoint meets at its beginning. And since the Soul exists in a state of everlasting becoming, this cyclical dynamic regenerates the Soul endlessly.

With respect to"the dissociated parts that hide and suppress the natural instinctive self", those words perfectly describe a state of consciousness undergoing involution as it evolves. This is Lilith as the soul bird who has flown away from the Mother Tree of wisdom and eternal life in order to become conscious of her true nature. Distorted Lilith manifests herself through those dissociated parts that reflect previously experienced traumatic episodes in one's life or prior life caused by conditioning or whatever, a signature of Lilith's true nature still ripening into consciousness.

In Ceres, this same dynamic was described through the symbols of Kore and Persephone as the separation and reunion of the daughter from the Mother, correlating to the Soul's cyclical regeneration of itself through loss/separation, initiation, and recovery/return. All experiences, both good and bad, that transpire during the Soul's journey are relevant and essential, providing the knowledge needed to transform unconsciousness (ignorance as sages refer to it) of humankind's spiritual nature into a fountainhead of heart wisdom. What becomes conscious correlating to the Soul's primal state through Lilith, or Kore and Persephone, is what you have described as being "in itself an essence that is not damaged, and it is in fact a confidant, curious and calm self, preserved by any destruction that the survival system created."

Blessings to you and to all, Mary

Hello all,
Picking up from where Helena left off the other day concerning Ceres' influence right now and Rad's comments that followed:

With Ceres in Gemini and Moon's North Node in Taurus, it would appear humans are being shown the value of nurturing appreciation for all the diversity within Creation. Beyond the ethical reasons for this, there exists a practical purpose, namely the vital importance of sustainability through diversity as Rad mentioned. Ceres in Gemini brings attention to the fact that the incredible biodiversity natural to all ecosystems is absolutely essential to sustain their vitality. It creates the necessary conditions for Her self-regulating and self-regenerative powers to not only function, but thrive.

Humans categorize it (Gemini) as the conditions of sustainability, which is finally being realized by non-indigenous humans as essential to survival. This message (Gemini) is being broadcast through all media outlets covering environmental issues linked to global warming. Almost everyone who pays attention now knows of its value and importance.

This principle of sustainability belonging to Natural Law demonstrates that the greater the complexity, the greater the stability. Non-indigenous humans have finally discovered that to pull one thread out of any ecosystem's tapestry of life can unravel the whole thing. For those involved in wildlife reintroduction projects, such as reintroducing wolves back into various habitats,Nature regenerated Herself in ways beyond what anyone could have ever imagined. Like a fractal, whose changing patterns illustrate the capacity of Mother Nature's infinite regenerative powers, one thing led to the fruition of another, and another, and on and on. An amazing demonstration of Ceres' awesome regenerative powers!

With respect to Ceres in Gemini's connection to the war in Ukraine, we could all agree that the appreciation for life's diversity is the exact opposite of what is being shown by Russia's  barbaric assault. These is no appreciation for the sanctity of life itself, period, full stop. As for Ukraine's inability to supply grain now threatening a global hunger crisis, the symbolism could not be more clear.

It is no coincidence that those perpetrating war crimes against the Ukranians are none other a major world producer and exporter of fossil fuels. This puts two core issues (Gemini duality) linked to our survival (North Nodes of Moon, Mars and Venus in Taurus; ruler Venus in Aquarius transiting with Mars, Juno, Saturn square Moon's nodes) right in the crosshairs that encapsulate the nature of our planetary crisis and the players involved in it. And it does so in stark relief for our objectification (Aquarius stellium).

The two players are (1) the interests of the fossil fuel industry who dominate by exclusion, force and self-interest versus (2)those of humanity at large, who collectively are trying to live in unity and peace. The question Ceres asks of us (Gemini) is what is most valued by us (Taurus - Moon's North Node) - having enough healthy food to eat, clean water to drink, and land to grow nutrient rich food upon that is cyclically regenerable in sustainable environments for ourselves, our descendants, and our sacred kin in nature, or maintaining our dependence upon fossil fuels and continue to reward and empower those that appear hell bent on destroying our world.

Research into the major sources responsible for CO2 show that the average planet dweller is not responsible for the dangerous levels of CO2 heating up the atmosphere; the lifestyles and lucrative business interests of the very wealthy are. And it is their flaunted lifestyles which the consensus has become conditioned to want to emulate in order to be "successful" too, making matters worse. Those same individuals and their business interests have suppressed the truth of global warming for decades, bringing us to where we are now. Even today, the fossil fuel companies in America proudly proclaim their efforts to mitigate global warming, yet behind the scenes they hypocritically and deceitfully continue doing business as usual. It has only been during the most recent global climate summit in Glasgow 2021 that the term "fossil fuel" was even allowed to be used in the literature identifying the source of the problem. Unbelievable!

The situation in Ukraine is clearly showing us the disaster that occurs when self-interest prevails at the global level linked to all this, which will certainly become everyone's future if not stopped. It is not an issue of territory as Russia claims, but ultimately about who owns the power to control another's reality, future, and destiny. This power has been in the hands of the wrong people for some time now, who seem to have no intention of giving it away without a struggle, even at the expense of catastrophic global upheaval, trauma and immeasurable suffering.

Clearly, humankind's addiction to fossil fuels, as Native American Indian activist Winona La Duke describes it, is the very thing responsible for our current world crisis. In the Ceres book is shared her people's prophecy about this time, where humans would be given a choice to take one of two paths - one well-worn and scorched and the other unworn and green. The well-worn, scorched path will be our future if global warming in not reversed, while the green, unworn path is our future if regenerative and sustainable practices are adopted globally and global warming is reversed. The prophecy goes on to say that if we choose the green path, an Eighth fire will be lit ushering in the rebirth of another cycle which humans will remain part of where a better future will be formed. I'm sure all of us prefer this.

The prophecy of a scorched earth reality is already manifesting on the planet from global warming, causing extreme weather conditions such as record breaking heat waves, mega fires, storms, droughts, floods. The point that Ceres emphatically makes right now with Mercury and Sun sextile her, ruled by Mars in Aquarius squaring Moon's nodes, is about humans doing the right thing NOW to mitigate and reverse global warming, by making the hard choices NOW which are wholly within their power to do so. And it can be so simple, accomplished by utilizing the tools and wisdom Mother Earth has already given us.

If anyone reading this has not seen the video documentary "Kiss the Ground" narrated by Woody Harrelson, they are highly encouraged to do so. It can be found on Netflicks, with a trailer found on Youtube. Its hopeful message reveals the basic principles of Natural Laws with respect to humankind's stewardship of planet Earth, simple tools and wisdom symbolized by the Ceres archetype Herself that we can harness NOW to reverse global warming.  By doing so, the promise of Her abundance being regenerated is ensured, along with the survival of our species and our beloved planetary kin.

The last point about Ceres in Gemini is about the power of communication to transmit messages that evoke appreciation for Nature's diversity, and nurture its value as a seminal attribute that reflects the essence of our own true nature. Ceres in Gemini calls upon women as Her guardians to raise their voices in this regard. Ceres shows us that the same principle of biodiversity that nurtures stability and sustainability in the natural world is symbolic of that which nurtures humankind's well-being - as a species within itself.

Appreciation for its diversity (all races, genders, ethnicity, religion affiliation, sexual orientations, etc.) as a function of Natural Law accomplishes the same end, nurturing a complex tapestry of various talents and geniuses that when synthesized together create the best world possible for all - both physically and spiritually. This can be seen happening already as scientists and environmental groups reach out to indigenous communities for their Earth wisdom to help humankind find its way out of this mess. This is also reflected on another front by various movements such as Black Lives Matter (race inequality and discrimination), LGBTQ (sexual orientation discrimination), and others that challenge humankind's current distorted perception of its group identity.

During this time, women can make a huge difference because everything is shifting with respect to power. Where it once came from the top down, it is shifting to rise from the bottom up. This can be seen happening everywhere in all sectors of reality. That means effecting changes to mitigate and reverse global warming, our most critical time-sensitive issue at the moment, will arise from grass roots efforts. And as Rose so beautifully puts it, relative to Sedna, for everyone "to resurface with an absolute, unwavering commitment to fight for what is most authentic and intrinsic to life – the right to exist and to thrive according to one's true nature, as a species, as a consciousness, as a soul, as a part of the whole."

Blessings to all, Mary
