Hi Rad, i understand the basic rule of interception, confused about one condition, if a sign is intercepted in 8th house, but no planet in that sign, how does this sign affect the soul's dynamic/choices (cuz 8th house)?

Thanks

Hi Wei,

What JWG taught was that when a sign is intercepted it has either been very develop prior to the current life which then means it does not need any further development relative to the current evolutionary purposes of the Soul, or it will become developed at some point in the current evolutionary purpose of the Soul. That would occur when various transits moved through into that intercepted sign relative to the house it is in and/ or when various transits created aspects to the planetary ruler of that intercepted sign.

If that planetary ruler in the natal chart has many aspects to it then this means it will become developed in the context of the current life and, if not, then it means it has already been developed prior to the current life. In this case the archetype of that sign is operating underneath the sign on the cusp by way of both archetypes being used by the Soul to actualize the core archetype of the house itself.

God Bless, Rad

Hi Rad,

When the interception happend in 8th house, no planet in this sign, does it give this sign strong pluto flavor because the whole sign is contained in 8th house?  Maybe this sign's dynamics affect the soul in a very unconscious level, and whenever there is a transit to it, will bring these lessons/desires/choices into consciousness?

Thanks as always
Wei
