Dear EA community,
As an extension of, and a deepening of my EA work, I have returned to the study of Tarot and Kabbalah. The existing correlations to astrology that I have found regarding both of these tools/schools of practice stem from the work of traditional Western astrology. The only useful correlation that I have found is JWG's chakra and archetype relationships for Kabbalah. I am getting an intuitive sense of what these correlations might be, but I would love to hear from anyone else in the EA community that has explored either of these paths from an EA perspective. If anybody here has done so, can you please share your insights?  TIA.

Blessings and prayers for peace,

Daniel

Hi Daniel;
I have studied Tarot and EA for many years.  My Tarot studies include the Kabbalistic and astrological correspondences. At times when I relate EA to Tarot it is always by the astrological correspondences of the Golden Dawn so that Judgement is Pluto, Hanged man is Neptune Fool is Uranus etc.  My method of reading Tarot is heavily astrological.  With regards to Kabballah I see the four worlds as the four suits and often consider the cards as they fall on the tree with regards to the paths and how the minors and suits fall onto the sephiroth.   It is a very rich area that I would love to explore more.  Have you seen 777 by Crowley?  It has dozens of tables with correspondences for the paths and so there is a lot of material there to explore with an eye to EA subject matter.
I have often layed out the cards according to one's chart for an added layer of meaning which is extraordinarily rich. I don't have cards for the nodes but will sometimes use a marker.  Doing this you can see the Judgement as Pluto And the Hermit as Virgo so that all Pluto in Virgo have this base line them of Judgement and Hermit.  For the Pluto in Leos it is Judgement and Strength, and for the Pluto in Libra's it will be Judgement and Justice etc.  Further once you consider those cards by their locations  on the tree  you have yet more to consider.
The theme of releasing conditioning to move towards enlightenment is in both the cards and Kabbalah of course so you I have experienced much correspondence with the languages.

Hi Jamaha,

Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have also been using the Golden Dawn correlations and have been Pathworking with the Major Arcana. As part of my daily practice I draw a card each morning and then use that as the focus of my meditation. If it is a PIP card, I use the correlating sephira including essential oils and stones. For path working, I often alternate Trumps (this word has a new uncomfortable connotation lately) with the symbolism of the Hebrew alphabet as well. I have not tried laying out a spread according to a birth chart but the idea intrigues me and I am going to try it. Thank you again for your insights.

Prayers for peace,

Daniel
